A Lasting Tribute in Oak: Handcrafted Memorial Bench

At MijMoj Design, we take pride in creating meaningful, handcrafted pieces that tell a story. One of our commissions was a special project – a bespoke memorial park bench designed to honour the memory of a customers much-loved family member.

Crafted from beautiful, durable green oak, the large bench was designed with both strength and sentiment in mind. Carefully engraved with the Welsh phrase ‘Dyddiau Difyr’ – translating to ‘Happy Days’ – the bench serves as a warm, lasting tribute to cherished memories.

Commissioned by a family in Dolgellau, the bench’s most striking feature is the backrest, which mirrors the silhouette of the surrounding mountain range. This thoughtful design detail ensures the bench feels truly at home in its landscape and offers a place of reflection and comfort for years to come.
