Another recent project with Wrexham Lager where we were commissioned to make a large charcuterie board in the shape of the Wrexham lager pilsner logo for a collaboration with Iâl Restaurant at Coleg Cambria.
The boards were created as part of the ‘Nibbles Board Challenge’ hosted by Coleg Cambria!
Local chefs and Wrexham Lager brewers had the tough task of judging the amazing food board selection created by the talented catering students. The competition was supported by a selection of judges: Head Chef at Tyddyn Llan, Gareth Stevenson, Welsh Chef of the Year 2024, Joshua Morris and sous chef at Tyddyn Llan. Alex Jones from The Bank Bar, also joined the judging panel and gave up his time to support this incredible challenge.
The boards featured some of the best Welsh produce, and the competition was fierce! A huge shoutout to everyone involved. All the food used in the challenge was donated to Nightingale House, one of Wrexham Lager’s chosen charities.
This wasn’t just a competition but a fantastic community effort. Produce from South Caernarfon Creameries, Caws Teifi Cheese, Caws Cenarth Cheese, Neal’s Yard Dairy, Welsh Cheese Company, Gifts of Wales, Shirgar, Snowdonia Cheese, Tan Y Castell Bakery #WrexhamLager #CheersToThat #Wrexham The Bank, Small Plates Restaurant, Wrexham Nightingale House Hospice
