Celebrating Craft and Competition: Bespoke Trophy Display for Balmoral Golf Club

At MijMoj Design, we take pride in creating handcrafted, bespoke pieces that tell a story – and our latest commission for Balmoral Golf Club is a perfect example of how beautiful design can meet tradition and celebration.

The ladies’ section at Balmoral Golf Club recently introduced a brand-new fixture to their calendar – The Balmoral Bangle. A sleek and elegant bangle will be awarded to the winning player at their annual August event, with the winner’s name and year meticulously engraved on a dedicated plaque with will be placed on the base. We were honoured to be asked to design and make a bespoke display case to house this new trophy.

Crafted from sustainably sourced solid oak, the custom display features a clear, protective acrylic cover – ensuring the bangle remains the centrepiece while being beautifully protected and presented. The engraved plaque will be added beneath allows the club to add a new name each year, turning the display into a lasting legacy piece.

This commission is a brilliant example of the kind of work we love – creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the spirit of the event and the people involved.
